Parks & Pipes

Snowmass Village’s terrain parks have earned legendary status as a top destination for freestyle athletes, consistently ranking among the best in Transworld Snowboarding Magazine’s annual listings. This reputation is bolstered by its role as a training ground for elite athletes like Olympic gold medalists, Torin Yater-Wallace and Hanna Faulhaber

The terrain parks have been the stage for several groundbreaking moments in snow sports history, including Mark McMorris’s historic backside triple cork 1440 in 2011 and Shaun White’s perfect 100 score at the 2018 Snowmass Grand Prix. In addition to these iconic moments, Snowmass has hosted major events like the FIS World Cup and US Grand Prix, drawing top talent from around the globe.

With approximately 100 features—such as the 22-foot Zaugg-cut superpipe—Snowmass offers three distinct terrain parks and two halfpipes, catering to riders of all ability levels. This combination of history, top-notch facilities, and a vibrant competition scene solidifies Snowmass as a must-visit destination for snow sports enthusiasts.
