3:30pm | Limelight Snowmass | Join special guests Gussie Maccracken and Patrick O'Connor from the Denver Museum of Nature & Science, for a tour and delve into the history of the 2010-11 Ice Age Discovery.

6:30pm | Owl Creek Room Limelight Snowmass | Patrick O’Connor, DMNS Director of Earth & Space Sciences and Gussie Maccracken, DMNS Assistant Curator of Paleobotany will explore what the fossils revealed about Colorado’s Ice Age past and how the discovery continues to inform science today.

8:00pm | Base Village Lawn | Explore the night sky through multiple professional telescopes with Astro Tours astronomers. Depending on conditions, we may observe star clusters, nebulae, galaxies, double stars, and planets.

Board a bus for a short ride to Ziegler Reservoir, the site of the incredible Ice Age fossil discovery in 2010. At the Reservoir, the Aspen Science Center will explore the remarkable excavation that brought significant Ice Age discoveries to light.

Join ACES Naturalist and Special Guest Gussie Macrracken to explore the family-friendly Snowmass Nature Trail while learning about local ecology.

Peter Goble, a leading Colorado climatologist, will discuss how Colorado’s climate is changing and what those changes mean for Snowmass Village. Local leaders from Aspen Skiing Company, Aspen Center for Environmental Studies, and the Wildfire Collaborative will share how they are adapting to the changing climate.
