Snowmass Village, Colo., (August 29, 2022) – As summer dwindles down and the leaves begin to change, Snowmass Village, CO continues to host a robust lineup of events. The September 2022 event lineup sees the return of several longstanding local favorites such as the JAS Aspen Snowmass Labor Day Experience, the 20^th Snowmass Wine Festival, and the 47^th Snowmass Balloon Festival, as well as the return of mountain bike races and trail runs.

JAS Aspen Snowmass Labor Day Experience – September 2-4: JAS Aspen Snowmass Labor Day Experience features three days of world-class performances on multiple stages, eclectic food and beverage vendors, and much more. 2022 acts include Stevie Nicks, Chris Stapleton, Leon Bridges, St. Paul & The Broken Bones, Little Big Town, Zach Bryan, Patrick Droney, and Marc Broussard. www.gosnowmass.com/event/jas-labor-day-experience/

Collegiate CU MTB Races – September 10-11: The University of Colorado’s mountain bike team takes over Snowmass Ski Area for a weekend of elite collegiate mountain biking amidst the stunning backdrop of changing aspen leaves. Axes & Arms Walk – September 11: Join local first responders for a walk from Town Park Station to the Top of the Village, 956ft, the highest number of feet that the brave New York first responders walked inside the first tower of The World Trade Center. Following the climb, return to Town Park to enjoy food, drinks, yard games, and more, provided by Roaring Fork Fire Authority. Snowmass Balloon Festival – September 16-18: The Snowmass Balloon Festival celebrates its 47^th anniversary in 2022. The long-standing Rocky Mountain tradition features three days of 30+ festive balloons launching into the air from 7:00am-9:30am and a night glow on Friday evening from 7:00pm-9:00pm. Snowmass Wine Festival – September 17: Experience an incredible afternoon of wine, food, sights, and sounds at the Snowmass Wine Festival, hosted by the Rotary Club of Snowmass Village. Returning for its 20^th year, the festival kicks off with a four-course Wine Dinner at the Viceroy Snowmass on Friday, September 16, with the main event, featuring wine from around the world under the tent at Snowmass Town Park, on Saturday, September 17 from 1:30pm-5:00pm. This summer the festival welcomes Celebrity Chef Suzie Jimenez, who is pairing her creations with Mico Tequila & Seltzers. Advanced tickets are $115/person. Golden Leaf Half Marathon – September 17: Chosen by Trail Runner magazine as one of “America’s 14 Most Scenic Races” this classic trail running race from Snowmass to Aspen is an annual sell out that provides 980’ elevation gain and a 1,712’ descent over its 13.1 miles. www.gosnowmass.com/event/golden-leaf-half-marathon/

VIDA MTB Series Flagship Clinic – September 17-18: Supported by YETI Cycles, YETI Cycles VIDA MTB Series presented by Shimano returns to Snowmass for the second of two clinics this summer. The VIDA MTB Series Flagship Clinics is a two-day women’s only mountain bike clinic. CO High School Cycling League – September 24-25: This fall, the Colorado High School Cycling League returns to Snowmass for the third year to host cross-country mountain bike races for student athletes from Colorado and New Mexico. September 2022 Activations & Ongoing Activities

ACES Guided Hikes – through September 5: This summer, join a Naturalist from Aspen Center for Environmental Studies (ACES) for a free, guided hike amongst the flowers and fields of Snowmass. Guests can choose to join the Wildflower Walk, which takes place daily at 10:00am on the Nature Trail, or the Ice Age Discovery Hike at 1:00pm daily on the Discovery Trail. Both hikes feature facts, tips, and trivia from a knowledgeable ACES Naturalist, as well as the chance to explore and get to know the flora and fauna of Snowmass. Snowmass Art Walk – Any Time: The Snowmass Art Walk showcases the work of local Roaring Fork Valley artists with Village-wide outdoor art installations including murals and sculptures that complement the beauty of Snowmass. Installations are spread out around the Snowmass Mall, Snowmass Base Village, the Brush Creek Trail, and Anderson Ranch Arts Center, featuring all 2021 art pieces, as well as expanding to include all major art in the Village. The Collective Snowmass – Any Time: The Collective Snowmass, the hub for community activity in Snowmass Base Village, features a robust summer lineup of weekly programming including chess club, comedy nights, bingo nights, art shows, and yoga with King Yoga. The Collective also features yard games, splash pads, fountains, and pop-up events. Be sure to head downstairs to check out the Selfie Den and the Game Lounge, free from 2:00pm-4:00pm, $10/person for anyone 6 years or older from 4:00pm-close.
