A Local Favorite on Fanny Hill

Join us for free concerts on Fanny Hill every Thursday night! A favorite summer tradition, the free Thursday night concerts feature a spectrum of sounds with incredible touring artists. Doors open at 5:30pm, and concerts begin at 6:30pm. Grab dinner in the Village before the show or pack a picnic to enjoy inside the venue.

Thursday, June 12The Burroughs: Hailing from Greeley, Colorado, The Burroughs is a 9-piece act with their trademark “sweaty soul music” that invites every crowd to groove, dance, and connect. Their inspiration is eclectic, from Stevie Wonder to Beyonce.

Thursday, June 19Charlotte Sands: Sands boldly and seamlessly blends genres, most prominently punk and modern pop, and pop-rock. With over 873,000 monthly listeners on Spotify, she has collaborated with artists across the music industry, quickly becoming a rising star in the alternative pop music scene.

Thursday, June 26Certainly So: Based in the “Music City” of Nashville, Tennessee, Certainly So is new to the scene with their indie-rock feel-good vibes. Their laid-back sound is the perfect way to spend a Thursday evening with the Colorado mountains as a backdrop.

Thursday, July 3Ozomatli: Grammy-winning band Ozomatli brings their signature fusion of Latin, hip-hop, rock, and funk to Snowmass, delivering the high-energy, genre-blending sound that’s made them a favorite for over two decades. Ozomatli is warmly welcomed back to Colorado, where the band has a rich history and connection to the state and its legendary music festivals. 

*Fri, July 4Spazmatics (July 4th Celebration): The Spazmatics are set to headline Snowmass’s annual Fourth of July celebration on Fanny Hill, bringing their high-energy ’80s rock and new wave hits to the mountains. Known for their nerd-chic attire and spot-on choreography, they deliver a fun, nostalgic show that’s beloved in the Roaring Fork Valley and beyond. Thursday, July 17The Rumble ft. Chief Joseph Boudreaux Jr.: The Rumble featuring Chief Joseph Boudreaux Jr. brings an electrifying fusion of Mardi Gras tradition and New Orleans funk, creating a vibrant musical experience that resonates with audiences. Their Grammy-nominated debut album, Live at the Maple Leaf, showcases the band’s dynamic sound, blending spirited call-and-response chants with powerful brass and rhythmic grooves. Chief Joseph Boudreaux Jr., a third-generation Mardi Gras Indian Chief of the Golden Eagles tribe, leads the ensemble with a deep-rooted connection to New Orleans’ rich cultural heritage.

Thursday, August 21O’Connor Brothers Band: The O’Connor Band is a bluegrass ensemble led by violinist Mark O’Connor, featuring his wife Maggie, son Forrest, and daughter-in-law Kate Lee. Their debut album Coming Home topped the Billboard Bluegrass Albums chart and earned them the 2017 Grammy Award for Best Bluegrass Album. The band blends traditional bluegrass with elements of country and folk, drawing inspiration from family legacy and a commitment to the evolving bluegrass genre.

Some Snowmass Free Concert Do’s and Don’t’s:

No Pets: Dogs have very acute hearing and the loud noise can actually be harmful to your pet. In compliance with ADA Guidelines, service animals are permitted inside the venue and must remain with their owners. This does NOT include emotional support animals, comfort animals and therapy dogs. 

Drinks are sold on site, including water and alcoholic beverages. While outside alcohol is not permitted, sealed, non-alcoholic beverages are allowed (no glass, please!).  Feel free to bring your empty water bottle, we have a water filling station available inside the venue!

No outside alcohol is permitted. There is a staffed bar inside the venue where you can purchase alcoholic beverages (all canned items…beer, wine, & cocktails).  Alcoholic beverages can only be purchased by someone 21 years old or older.  Proper ID will be required and checked to receive a wristband before purchasing alcohol.  Alcohol may NOT leave the concert venue.

What to bring: We suggest a picnic blanket or low chairs to sit on, and a jacket or sweater for after the sun goes down, as well as an umbrella or jacket for any inclement weather. Many Snowmass restaurants in Base Village and The Mall offer take out for the perfect concert dinner picnic. Arriving early? Check out the patios at Stew Pot, Venga Venga or Ranger Station on The Mall or Base Village, Limelight and Mawita in Base Village for drinks and apps while you wait for your squad.

Getting Here:

Concerts are held on the Fanny Hill Concert Stage at the end of the Snowmass Mall. Free parking is available at Town Park Station and the Brush Creek Intercept Lot, with free shuttles to the Snowmass Mall and Base Village. Additional options include, RFTA bus service from Aspen and the Intercept Lot, or the free Village Shuttle service throughout Snowmass. It is best to get off at the Snowmass Mall stop.

If you are driving, the Base Village Parking Garage offer free (limited) parking during the summer months. From the garage, you can ride the free Sky Cab Gondola (known as the Skittles) from Base Village to the Snowmass Mall.
